Elsewhere is CORD Studio's Festive FW '26 collection, built around hand embroidery, smocking, appliqué, and silk, and inspired by South Asian and Southeast Asian folklore and mythology.
A world of beautiful impossibilities. It journeys into the space between folklore and fantasy, the earthly and the divine, the familiar and the impossible - inspired by mythical beings, regional folklore, and the boundless imagination of childhood, bringing stories of creatures, gods, birds and animals into a contemporary wardrobe.
The collection carries CORD's signature craft language: hand smocking, intricate embroidery, appliqué, delicate lacework. Rich silks lend lustre and occasion-ready elegance; soft cottons bring ease and tactility to festive dressing.
Across cultures, animals and mythical creatures have long existed between worlds — as companions, guardians, symbols, and vahanas, the celestial beings that carry stories of the divine into the earthly realm.
Elsewhere draws from that relationship between humans, nature, and mythology. It imagines a world where a bird can speak, a human can grow wings, an animal can carry a god across worlds — where nothing has to follow the rules of reality to feel believable. These aren't abstract references. They show up in the collection as embroidered motifs, appliquéd creatures, and silhouettes that borrow the drama of myth without losing everyday wearability.
